Belair National Park 21 April 2026

A pleasant stroll in Belair NP taking in Karka Pavilion, Long Gully, the RSL Walk and Sequoia Plantation.

From Karka Pavilion, we walked up to the Sequoia Plantation via the RSL Walk and return continuing on down Long Gully to the Volunteer Centre and back to the pavilion, a total of 4 km.

After the walk we found a picnic shelter to enjoy a complimentary coffee/tea and cake served from the Doyle motorhome kitchen.

Coffee at Inc Café was enhanced by extra folk who joined us for socialising.

Blackwood Christmas Pageant 5 December 2025

A great turn out for our stable float with about 34 being either on the stable trailer or processing alongside. So wonderful that many of the Christian Churches continue to lead off the Blackwood Pageant, and this year we not only had shepherds, wise men and lots of angels to watch over us, we even had a pregnant Mary. We were blessed with perfect weather and the wise men on their camels, already on their journey to see the Christ Child. Many Thanks to Julie, Clem, Mario and Gregor for setting it all up, and for all, who attended and watched. It was a joyous occasion for our Parish Family 💜✨️🎄

November Walk

Thank you, Philip Doyle for an educational walk at the Urrbrae Wetlands on Tuesday.

Vanessa our guide, and Terry Tierney one of our walkers who had been Principal at Urrbrae in the 1990s gave us a comprehensive overview of how the wetlands were developed.

At Coffee afterwards at the Waite Institute, we were privileged to hear from Beth of the work that Foodbank does in looking after the underprivileged in our communities .

Michael Belpario, our Treasurer, informed us that we had raised over S500 from our gold coin donations during the year. Thank you everyone who contributed.Our next walk will be in January, similar to this year at the Esplanade at Somerton Park. More information closer to the time.
