LENT:   The season of Lent is a time of penance, so people are asked to consider some of the following extra actions:
A. Prayer
B. Self-denial – e.g., not eating meat or sweets; giving up entertainment to spend time with the family; limiting food and drink so as to give to the poor.
C. Helping others – e.g. special attention to someone who is poor, sick, elderly or over-burdened.
Project Compassion boxes and envelopes are available at the back of the Church and at the side doors.

LENTEN STUDIES:   There are several opportunities for people to reflect on their faith during Lent. You may like to consider these programs which focus on the Sunday Gospels.
A. "Do You Love Me?" A program from the Diocese of Wollongong. This will be held in the Parish House each Tuesday starting on 23rd Feb. You can attend at either 2pm or 7.30pm.(Enq:Parish Office 9807 9494)
B. Ecumenical Lenten Studies: This program has been put together by our local Churches. Meetings will be held in homes on different days of the week. (Enq: Veronica 9806 0113 or Michael 9806 0562).
