AUSTRALIA’S BIGGEST MORNING TEA: Holy Family Parish will be hosting Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea on Thursday 24th May at 10am (after the 9.15am Mass) in the Parish Small Hall. Come and join us for a cuppa! Donations raised for this event will be given to the Cancer Research Foundation.

NAME TAGS: Any Parishioners who would like their own name tag to wear at Mass, please write your name in block letters in the list at the Piety Stall. Name tags can be collected from the alphabetical draws in the foyer. Please place name tags back into these boxes at the end of each Mass.

EL SALVADOR ACTION GROUP ANNUAL APPEAL: The Annual appeal for our sister parish in El Salvador, San Antonio Abad, is to be held on the weekend 26th/27th May 2012. Our El Salvador Action Newsletter will be available after Mass next weekend.

CATHOLICCARE’S - HEAVENLY GALA BALL: This is your opportunity to be part of a very special evening and raise urgently needed funds for families and individuals experiencing alcohol and other drug issues in our community. Gala Ball will be held on Thursday 24th May at the Plaza Ballroom, 191 Collins St, Melbourne at 6.30pm for 7pm start. (See noticeboard for more details.)

CROSSROADS PILGRIMAGE -25th NOV-9TH DEC: Crossroads is an alternative end of school year celebration where students travel from Melbourne to Alice Springs, stopping at Penola, spend time in an Indigenous community and much, more. HOLY FAMILY LOSS AND GRIEF GROUP: The next meeting for parishioners experiencing loss and grief is TUESDAY 5TH JUNE at 2.00pm. Meetings are held in the Parish House on the first Wednesday each month. MASS FOR EXPECTANT MOTHERS: The Life, Marriage & Family Office warmly invite all expectant mothers and their families to a Mass for Expectant Mothers. The Mass will be celebrated by Archbishop Denis Hart at St Patrick's Cathedral on Sunday 17th June at 11.00am. DE LA SALLE COLLEGE, MALVERN: To celebrate 100 years of De La Salle College, Malvern, a 120 page book in full colour, pictorial history of the College has been published. The beautifully illustrated book, co-authored by Nicholas Quin (DLS 1963) and Steve Stefanopoulos (DLS 1992) entitled With Faith and Zeal Resplendent, showcases the many people, places and events that have made their mark throughout the one hundred year journey of the College from the time the first three pioneering Brothers opened the School in 1912, to the present day. The book will be available following the launch on 18th May. To secure your copy of this limited release publication, contact the College on 9508 2100.
