Holy Family Netball Club

The Holy Family Netball Club was established for Parish children to play netball in their local area. Currently, eight Holy Family teams consisting of students from Grade 3 to Year 12 compete in the Waverley District Netball Association (WDNA) on Saturdays at Ashwood Netball Courts. The teams participate in a Winter and a Spring Competition.

Students in Grades 1 and 2 are invited to attend a Net Set Go program run in Holy Family Hall in Term 3. Girls in Grade 2 can also attend a Netta Program at Ashwood courts. Girls in Years 3, 4 and 5 compete in a Modified Netball competition on Saturday mornings at the courts. Whilst the teams initially consist of students from Holy Family, netball players from other schools are also invited to play.

The committee, coaches and players are committed to providing opportunities for girls to develop their netball skills and a number of players from the club also participate in Representative netball clubs.

Training for the Saturday morning competitions are generally held on a Wednesday afternoon in Holy Family Hall.

Girls interested in playing with the club are invited to contact Meg Gilfedder on 9807 4107 to find out more information.
